Share the Road – It's the Law!
Many motorists are not aware that they are required by law to share the road with non-motorized traffic on all roads with the exception of limited-access highways (e.g. I-95). New State of CT Pedestrian Laws go into effect Oct. 1
The State of Connecticut is enacting important new laws to protect pedestrians. These laws go into effect October 1, 2021 and will help improve communication between pedestrians and drivers - so using the street will be safer for everyone.
